This policy explains what The False Sun collects and why. We keep data collection to a minimum. We do not require an account, and the game itself runs entirely in your browser without sending us your play history.
What we collect
- Analytics: Aggregated, anonymous usage data (pages viewed, approximate region) through privacy-respecting analytics. This is not tied to your identity.
- Advertising: We use Google AdSense to serve ads. AdSense may use cookies and non-personal or personalized signals as described in Google's policies.
- Email: If you contact us, we store the message and your address only so we can reply.

We and our advertising partner (Google) may set cookies to measure traffic and serve relevant ads. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site and game will still work, though some ads may be less relevant.

The False Sun contains horror themes and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Security
We follow reasonable measures to protect the limited data we hold. Because the game saves locally in your browser, your progress is only as safe as the device and browser you play on — clearing your browser data will clear your saves.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
